Building Maintenance Mechanic – Utica, NY
Duties and Responsibilities * Repaired and maintained the following: DDC systems, HVAC/R, steam boilers, electrical fixtures, lighting, ballasts, VAV boxes, toilets, sinks, etc.* Other certification(s): EPA 608* Experienced in carpentry, electrical repair, mechanical repair.* Maintain hydraulic systems, electrical systems, gas equipment, HVAC, AC/DC systems.* Inspect and test equipment.* Make repairs.* Make minor adjustments to equipment.* Replace worn and broken parts.* Install parts and equipment.* Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, electrical and electronic testing devices, hoists and lifts, pullers.* Take apart and reassemble equipment.* Perform preventive maintenance.* Perform electrical repair and maintenance.* Maintain pipe systems and plumbing.* Diagnose mechanical problems.* Read and use blueprints, manuals, work orders, schematics, technical drawings, catalogs.* Clean and lubricate parts.* Basic computer use.* Maintain buildings.* Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of work area.* Knowledge sets include: Ammeters, Alarm systems, Brazing equipment, Computerized maintenance management system CMMS software, Digital Direct Control DDC Energy Management software, Microsoft Office software, Ohmmeters, Ultrasonic leak detectors, Voltage or current meters, Voltage testers.

Wage: $25/hr plus health, dental, and life insurance
Must pass US Government security clearance.
