Mr. Tate serves Rosemark as President and has over thirty-three (33) years of increasing responsibilities and achievements in various management, problem solving and decision making situations. Field experience has included the operations and asset management of commercial office buildings and industrial properties of all sizes. Build-to-suit and development of properties has also been a focus. Corporate staff experience, as well as general management experience in start-up, stabilization and ongoing operation of real estate companies. Extensive personal computer experience in program development, training and operations. Legal experience in dealing with the constructive and adversarial legal matters which face real estate ownership and operations.

He attended Stephen F. Austin State University for his Bachelor’s degree, and received his Master’s degree from the University of Houston. Mr. Tate has the designation of a Certified Property Manager (CPM).

His work experience has included such prestigious real estate firms as Gerald D. Hines Interest, Houston, Texas, and JMB Properties Company, Chicago, Illinois. In his ten-year tenure with Gerald D. Hines Interests, he established and led the start-up and development of a fee management company. Before joining Rosemark, he was the Senior Vice President and Managing Director for a twenty million square foot national portfolio of offices and warehouses properties located in fifty cities and twenty-one states.

Mr. Tate currently oversees all operating functions of Rosemark and has specific oversight and direct responsibility for the property management function of the company.

President – Jerry Tate leads Rosemark in its facilities management division. He is responsible for overseeing facility management, HVAC mechanical, cleaning, and landscaping contracts as well as property management, leasing and brokerage operations for the commercial and residential divisions, development of properties, and build-to-suit projects.

An affiliate of JMB Realty Corporation, responsible for overseeing the management of a $20 billion portfolio located throughout the United States. This consisted of over 95,000,000 square feet of commercial space, 19,000 residential units, in thirty-three (33) states and supervised over 3,000 employees.

Major nationwide developer and manager of office and industrial properties in excess of 75,000,000 square feet in 17 states and 1,100 employees.

TEXAS INDUSTRIAL REAL ESTATE

In 1988, established and led the start-up and development of a fee management company named Texas Industrial Real Estate. The company owned 7 properties and fee managed 48 other properties owned by other companies, individuals, or joint ventures. Total square footage was 4,000,000 square feet.

GERALD D. HINES INTERESTS

The company decentralized in 1986 and the centrally controlled Property Management Division was eliminated. Promoted to Manager/Central Operations at this time. Emphasis was to continue to “troubleshoot” problem areas, but now thin the corporate company.
